Description:
KCKHA works closely with local social service agencies caseworkers to allow previous
residents that were evicted for rectifiable causes to return to public housing with the
assistance of a Case Manager. The social service agencies commit to a minimum of six
months case management services upon their consumer returning to public housing.

Program Size:
To date, approximately 50 residents have been served.
Eligible Participants:
Individuals who have resided with KCKHA in the past that were evicted for rectifiable
causes. Additionally, each person must be working closely with a case manager and make a
commitment that they will continue these services for a minimum of six months.
Type of Assistance:
This program allows for individuals that have been evicted in the past for rectifiable
causes to return to decent, clean and affordable housing with the assistance of a case
manager.
Contributors to the Program:
The local social service agencies provide these services to their consumers at no cost to
them or KCKHA. In return, KCKHA allows an individual that would other wise not be allowed
back into public housing for a specified period of time, to return with services prior to
that time expiring.
PHA Funding:
No public housing funds are used for this program.
