INVITATION TO BID
The Kansas City Kansas Housing Authority is
seeking qualified companies to bid on replacement of a 100-ton water cooled
chiller system. Project is for the following family housing development; K1-20
Westgate Tower, 6100 Leavenworth Rd, Kansas City, Kansas. for Security Services at K1-4 Wyandotte Towers, 915 Washington Blvd., Kansas
City, Kansas.
Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. CDT, September 7, 2010
at the Housing Authority’s administration office, at 1124 North 9th Street in
Kansas City, Kansas. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.
Bid packages will be available from Davidson & Associates, Inc., 10955 Lowell Avenue, Suite 915, Overland Park, KS, 66210-2351; starting August 17, 2010. Telephone number is (913)271-6859 to reserve a set. A refundable deposit of $100.00 will be required per set. Check shall be made out to Housing Authority of Kansas City, Kansas.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. CDT, August 24, 2010, in the Housing Authority’s main conference room.This project is federally funded and subject to all applicable regulations. Prevailing wage must be paid as scheduled in the Project Manual.
Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after this time will not be accepted and will be returned to bidder unopened.
The KCKHA reserves the right to
reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all
bids or to request additional information from any bidder. In accordance with the KCKHA
policies, all qualified firms, including minority-owned and/or women-owned
businesses are
encouraged to bid.
