K1-21SS & K1-23 SS Wood Decks, Stairs & Railings

The Housing Authority of Kansas City, Kansas is seeking qualified companies to bid and provide new wood decking, stair and railing replacement. Project is for the following family housing development; K1-21 Scattered Family Housing Development, and K1-23 Scattered Family Housing Development. 

Sealed bids will be received until than 2:00 p.m., April 6, 2010 at which time the bids submitted in accordance with the bid documents will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after the specified time will be returned unopened to the sender. Bids shall be in a sealed envelope, which shall be clearly labeled with the words:

"Bid Documents"

A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 p.m., March 30, 2010, at the Administration building of the Kansas City Kansas Housing Authority, located at 1124 North Ninth Street, Kansas City, KS 66101.

Bid packages will be available from Davidson & Associates, INC., 10955 Lowell Ave, Suite #1025, Overland Park, KS, 66210-2389; starting March 26, 2010. Telephone number (913) 271-6859 to reserve a set. A refundable deposit of $100.00 will be required per set. Check shall be made out to Housing Authority of Kansas City, Kansas. 
The KCKHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all bids or to request additional information from any bidder. In accordance with the KCKHA policies, all qualified firms, including minority-owned and/or women-owned businesses are encouraged to bid.
