The Kansas City Kansas Housing
Authority invites bids for Playground Improvements at designated playground
areas where improvements are needed. New equipment and/or repair of existing
equipment are required. Installation of a new rubberized or safety ground cover
is needed and included in this project.
Playground Areas:
K1-3 Cyrus K. Holliday – 35th
Street & Douglas Avenue
K1-5 Belrose Manor – 40th Street Terr & Mission Road
K1-6 Douglas Heights – 42nd Street & Douglas Avenue
Sealed bids should be made
to the Kansas City, Kansas Housing Authority and will be received until 11:00
a.m. Thursday, March 04, 2010 at the Housing
Authority office, 1124 North 9th Street, Kansas City Kansas 66101.
Bid documents shall be sealed in an envelope to be clearly labeled as follows:

PRE-BID CONFERENCE
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the administrative office at 1124 North 9th
Street, Kansas City, Kansas at 10:00
a.m., February 26, 2010.
CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
Construction Documents may be examined at the office of the Architect, BYERS, GUNN & HART ARCHITECTS (913-334-3500), at Dodge/Scan, Mission, KS; Reed Construction Data, Minority Contractor’s Association, Kansas City, MO and Builders Association, Kansas City, MO. Contract documents may be obtained from the Architect by depositing the sum of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per set, refundable upon return of the Plans and Specifications in good condition, within ten (10) days after receipt of bids. Plan deposit will not be returned to contractors who fail to submit a bonafide prime bid.
This project is federally funded and subject to all applicable regulations. The KCKHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all bids or to request additional information from any bidder. In accordance with the KCKHA policies, all qualified firms, including minority-owned and/or women-owned businesses are encouraged to bid.
