K1-15 Scattered Sites
HVAC Improvements

The Housing Authority of Kansas City, Kansas invites bids for the installation of HVAC Improvements at K1-15 Scattered Sites, 46th and Oak Streets, Kansas City, Kansas. 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The work consists of the removal of gas-fired furnaces, installation of new furnaces and condensing units, installation of refrigerant piping and valving,, installation of piping insulation on all refrigerant suction lines, fabrication and installation of new return-air ducts/plenums and new supply-air ducts, installation of new safety switches and branch circuits, connection to existing gas vents, and associated electrical wiring and accessories. 

Sealed bids will be received until than 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 4, 2010 at which time the bids submitted in accordance with the bid documents will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after the specified time will be returned unopened to the sender. Bids shall be in a sealed envelope, which shall be clearly labeled with the words:

Pre-bid Conference will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 28, 2010, at the Administration building of the Kansas City Kansas Housing Authority, located at 1124 North Ninth Street, Kansas City, KS 66101.

These documents are available upon payment of a $100.00 deposit, refundable upon return of the plans and specifications in good condition, within 12 days after  receipt of bids. 

This project is federally funded and subject to all applicable regulations. The KCKHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all bids or to request additional information from any bidder. In accordance with the KCKHA policies, all qualified firms, including minority-owned and/or women-owned businesses are encouraged to bid.
