Exterior Repairs and Painting
The Housing Authority of Kansas City, Kansas invites bids for Exterior Modification and Painting which includes, but is not limited to, replacement of the existing siding, repair of rotted or damaged building sheathing and installation of new siding and painting of the exteriors on the 18 buildings. Sealed bids will be received until than 2:00 p.m., January 11, 2010 at which time the bids submitted in accordance with the bid documents will be opened and read aloud.
Bids received after the specified time will be returned unopened to the sender. Bids shall be in a sealed envelope, which shall be clearly labeled with the words:"Bid Documents"

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m., January 8th,
2010, at the Administration building of the Kansas City Kansas Housing
Authority,
located at 1124 North Ninth Street, Kansas City, KS 66101.
Construction Documents may be examined at the office of the
Architect, BYERS, GUNN & HART ARCHITECTS at Dodge/Scan, Mission, KS;
Construction Market Data and Builders Association, Kansas City, MO. These documents are
available from the architect upon payment of a $25 deposit per set, refundable upon
return of the Plans and Specifications in good condition, within 10 days
after receipt of bids. Plan deposit will not be returned to contractors
who fail to submit a bonafide prime bid.To secure documents or to
make inquiries regarding the requirements of bidding and/or construction contact
the architect.
