Authority invites bids for interior modernization located at
730 Nebraska, Kansas City, Kansas 66101
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Interior Modernization which includes but not limited to Demolition, General Construction, Plumbing, Mechanical and Electrical, for 36 apartments plus common areas (3floors).
Sealed bids should be received
until 2:00
p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at the Housing
Authority office, 1124 North 9th Street, Kansas City Kansas 66101.
Bid documents shall be sealed in an envelope to be clearly labeled as follows:

Proposals will be opened and read publicly at that time. All bids shall be made in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS section of the Project Manual. No bids will be received after the time and date stated above.
PRE-BID CONFERENCE
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the administrative office at 1124 North 9th
Street, Kansas City, Kansas at
10:00
a.m., November 12, 2009.
PREVAILING WAGE
Prevailing wage must be paid on
this project, as scheduled in the Project Manual.

A deposit of $100.00, payable to the Kansas City, Kansas Housing Authority,
is required and is fully refundable upon return of the plans and specifications
in good condition, and within twelve (12) days after receipt of bids.
The KCKHA reserves the right to
reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all
bids or to request additional information from any bidder. In accordance with the KCKHA
policies, all qualified firms, including minority-owned and/or women-owned
businesses are
encouraged to bid.
