The Kansas City Kansas Housing
Authority invites bids for the roof replacement at Juniper Gardens 3rd and
Walker, Kansas City, Kansas 66101
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The improvements will consist of the removal of existing composition shingles on sixty-six multiple family residential buildings. Existing ½" plywood sheathing is to be selectively replaced as required to provide structurally sound substrate for installation of new ½" plywood sheathing. New asphalt shingles and flashings are to be installed.
Sealed bids should be made
to the Kansas City, Kansas Housing Authority and will be received until 3:00
p.m. Thursday, September 10, 2009 at the Housing
Authority office, 1124 North 9th Street, Kansas City Kansas 66101.
Bid documents shall be sealed in an envelope to be clearly labeled as follows:

All bids shall be in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders section of the Project Manual. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. No bids will be received after the time and date stated above.
PRE-BID CONFERENCE
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the administrative office at 1124 North 9th
Street, Kansas City, Kansas at 2:00
p.m., September 03, 2009.
PREVAILING WAGE
Prevailing wage must be paid on this project, as scheduled in the Project Manual.
This project is federally funded
and subject to all applicable regulations. The Kansas City, Kansas Housing
Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any
informalities in the bidding or to request additional information from any
bidder. Questions regarding the invitation to bid should be addressed in writing
to Modernization Department, Kansas City Housing Authority, 1124 North 9th
Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66101.

from the Architect by depositing the sum of $50.00, refundable upon
return of the plans and specifications in good condition,
